（英語）工学部部局間協定校へのお知らせ

For Partners of Tohoku Engineering,

Here are some updates on fall 2020 (Oct.-Mar.) and spring 2021 (Apr. – Sep.) semester.

• Fall 2020 semester

For the 2020 fall semester, the School of Engineering has decided to hold some classes on campus while taking preventative measures of COVID-19. However, the majority of classes will be still conducted online, and the implementation policies will differ depending on each department/school.

• Spring 2021 semester

We will welcome international exchange students from your institution as usual. However, please note that a student’s exchange can be affected not only by decisions and regulations of the immigration authorities but also of Tohoku University’s considering the regional situation.

Students will be able to apply for COLABS program (graduate level exchange program) and also students are able to study at Tohoku as a Special Auditing Student (undergraduate level) or Special Research Student (graduate level). In the same way as the fall 2020, we are planning to offer courses in hybrid of online/on-campus. Depending on the situation, we may switch back the courses taught in on-campus to online.
