チューター紹介　Arrangement of Tutor

研究室配属されていない学部留学生にチューターを紹介することが可能です。
希望する学部留学生は、申請フォームより申し込んでください。

If you are an undergraduate regular international student at the School of Engineering who do not belong to any lab and need a tutor’s support, IEED can arrange a tutor that matches your needs.

チューター登録　Registration as a Tutor

留学生の多くは、大学院正規生や交換留学生などで、ほとんどが研究室に所属しています。
しかし、学部正規生として本学に入学した留学生は、学年によってはまだ研究室に配属されておらず、チューターがついていないケースがあります。このような留学生をチューターとして支援したい場合、申請フォームから申し込んでください。
留学生の希望や目的を考慮し、適性を見た上で活動をお願いする場合に連絡します。

If you would like to help and support international students who do not belong to any lab, please sign up as a tutor. You will be contacted by IEED, considering international students’ needs, goals and suitability.

日本語指導・添削
Japanese Learning / Correction

当室で開講している日本語クラスとは別に、独学で日本語学習を行う過程で生じた疑問に対する説明や、大事な書類のライティングアドバイスなど、留学生のための日本語指導・添削を随時行っています。
直接国際交流室に来室の上、相談ください。

Aside from the Japanese class, we support international students with their Japanese studies by giving them thorough explanations and answers to questions as well as advice on writing techniques useful for important documents. Please come directly to IEED.

生活アドバイジング
Guidance

文化の異なる日本での生活が有意義になるよう、国際交流や異文化対応の専門的な知識と豊富な経験からアドバイスをします。
日常生活で生じる軽い疑問や問題点など、気軽に相談ください。

We provide international students with useful advice on how to fully enjoy their time in Japan with specialized knowledge on international exchange and multi-cultural communication. Please feel free to ask us anything.

図書貸し出し
Library

当室では、様々な図書、語学教材、映像・音声教材を備えています。
本棚にある貸し出し簿に記入のうえ、一度に2冊まで、2週間まで貸し出し可能です。
貸し出し期間の延長を希望する場合は、再度貸し出し簿に記入することで、さらに2週間利用できます。

We have a variety of books, language textbooks as well as video/audio teaching materials.
Please fill out the checkout form on the bookshelf to lend books. Two books can be lent at a time up to two weeks maximum.If you wish to prolong the returning date, please fill out the checkout form again, and another two weeks will apply to your checkout.

国際交流の旅
International Exchange Trip

「国際交流の旅」は、工学部・工学研究科で学ぶ留学生と日本人学生が、日帰り旅行を通して交流を深める行事です。
留学生にとっては、日本文化や歴史に関する知識を深めると同時に、日本人学生とのネットワーク作りに適したイベントです。一方、日本人学生にとっては、留学生との交流を楽しみながら、灯台下暗しで普段注視することのなかった自国の文化等を再度学び、それを英語で説明する英語力向上につながる機会となります。

The “International Exchanging Trip” is an event for international students and Japanese students in SoE to interact and understand each other through a day trip.
For international students, this is an event to learn and enrich their knowledge of the Japanese cultures and history as well as to create their own network with the Japanese students. For Japanese students, on the other hand, this is an event to relearn the cultures of their country and improve their English by giving explanations to international students while interacting with them.

※外国籍参加者のご家族の応募も応相談。空き状況により受け付けます。

国際交流パーティー
International Exchange Party

国際交流室では、様々な国籍、文化、バックグラウンドをもった学生たちが気軽に交流を楽しむ場として、パーティーを企画しています。毎回のテーマに合わせて、学生による母国の紹介や料理の歴史・作り方の発表などを交え、料理をしながら交流する、カジュアルでアットホームな雰囲気のパーティーです。

IEED plans parties where students with different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds to interact with each other casually. It is a casual party with a home-like atmosphere for students to present the history of cuisines from their home countries as well as how to cook them as they interact with each other and enrich their friendship.

TESPホスト学生

Tohoku University Engineering Summer Program (TESP)で、世界各国から集まる外国人参加者をホストする学生を募集します。
英語コミュニケーション実践の場であると同時に、世界に人的ネットワークを築く機会です。
2週間という短期間の滞在で、日本、仙台、東北大学の魅力を伝え、将来また東北大学に戻って来たくなるようにおもてなししてください。

活動一例
